We hope you are staying safe and healthy, and we can't wait to welcome you back soon.  Although Gore is presently closed to the public, we look forward to posting information about our schedule and activities as it becomes available.  2020-2021 season passes are on sale- there are no price increases over last year, plus our free financing plan is available when you purchase on or before August 12.  If you are renewing your pass, use our online "WTP Reloads" feature to conveniently retain your same SKI3 Card.

Special Notes

In the interest of everyone's health, we are asking for no visitors to the mountain at this time.  We understand that some of you have personal equipment stored in rental lockers, and we’re working on a procedure that will allow you to safely collect your belongings.  This procedure and other updates will be posted here as they become available.  We appreciate everyone's help and cooperation in being part of the solution during these trying times, and we look forward to getting back to the activities we all love soon.

Private Lessons

Reserve Customized Coaching for All Ages & Abilities

Thank you for visiting our website. Please check back for program information for the 20/21 snow season.

The information below is from the 19/20 snow season.

Request an instructor of your choice, or we will hand-pick a qualified instructor for you!  If you wish, add another person to your private lesson, as long as this person is of like age and ability.  We recommend half-hour private lessons for 3-4 year-olds who aren't ready for a full hour on the snow.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended and are required for telemark private lessons.  To make a reservation, click to submit an online request, call (518) 251-4804, or email reservations@goremountain.com.  View our 2019-2020 Reservation Policy.   Ask about specialty private lessons for terrain parks, glades, bumps, and gates!  We also offer an adaptive program for skiers and riders with special needs.

Private lessons do not include lift tickets or rental equipment, and a lift ticket or season pass is required for all private lessons.  Prices below are for instruction only.  Looking to save on the lift ticket you'll need to add to your private lesson?  Check out our:

Adaptive Program

Gore Mountain offers ski and snowboard lessons for people with disabilities. Our instructors are trained to coach those with special needs. All lessons are private, one-on-one with your instructor/coach, to better meet your specific needs. Our lessons are available to skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels.

Our trained staff can work with those who are hearing or visually impaired, those with developmental or intellectual disabilities, and/or those with physical disabilities. We have two different style bi-skis available for use during lessons, as well as outriggers for those needing to use this type of equipment.

Reservations are required so we can coordinate the best lesson opportunity to fit your needs.

1-hour lesson - $60
2-hour lesson - $100
2-hour lesson with 2 instructors - $150 - all bi/mono ski lessons are two hours
Rental package included, be sure to request equipment when you make your reservation.

Please contact our reservations desk at (518) 251-4804 or email reservations@goremountain.com.

Note that all lesson programs require participants (ages 17 & under) to be wearing a helmet. If you rent equipment here, a helmet is included in the package. If children are using their own equipment, they must bring a helmet with them or plan to rent one upon arrival. Thank you for your cooperation toward our effort of increasing safety on the slopes. Visit LidsOnKids.org to learn more about helmets and snow sports safety!
