22" of beautiful snow on Sunday delivered a truly memorable day!  We have tons of glades open all over the mountain.  Be advised of today's cold forecast as the strong storm moves out and leaves low temperatures and blustery northwest winds behind.  If you're out to grab your share of the fresh powder today, layer up well, stay hydrated, and stash some warmers and snacks in your pocket.  Check out our lodges on most or every run today to keep yourself warm- the upper level of the Saddle Lodge is a particularly comfortable place to get cozy while enjoying the views!  Groomers have been working hard to level out almost two feet of new snow- expect powder conditions again for Monday.  High Peaks Area skiers- plan to exit that area via Wood Out and down to the North Quad.  Remember to grab your e-tickets in advance and save yourself some time and money.

Special Notes

Don't forget, your lift ticket or season pass is valid at our Nordic Center and Village Slopes at the Ski Bowl, where tomorrow we will be hosting the USASA Border/Skiercross event. This exciting freestyle race begins at 11am. Because there is more midweek snow in the forecast, check out our weekend ski and stay packages for future mountain fun!  Safety reminder: Prior to using any lift,  need to know how to load, ride, and unload safely. Be sure to ask one of our friendly lift attendants if you have any questions. They are there to help. Today's Food Court lunch special is a Bacon Cheeseburger for $9.50 (passholders always save 20% off the special). 

Season-Long Teen Programs

For intermediate and advanced skiers and riders, ages 13-15.

Gore Teen X-Treme Season-Long Program

Teens in our season-long program explore all aspects of skiing and riding at Gore Mountain.  Switch it up- skiers can try snowboarding; snowboarders can try skiing.  Work on terrain park skills, try racing in the gates, explore our Skier/BoarderX, and ski or ride bumps, glades and more!  All-day coaching and fun-filled adventures will build a strong foundation of skills required to enjoy our spectacular terrain.  Safety and fun are emphasized daily.  Practice for our upcoming events with your coaches.

  • For skiers & snowboarders (ages 13-15), intermediate to advanced ability levels
  • Program meets 9am-3:30pm, every Saturday & Sunday, December 8-March 17 (no program February 16-17)
  • Includes 18-19 SKI3 season pass, equipment storage in the Rumor Mill Clubhouse, and the option to include lunch on program days
  • Parents, ask about joining our four-week adult program that coincides with your teen's lessons, starting in early January.

With Lunch:  $1,515 until 11/26/18, $1,635 after
Without Lunch  $1,245 until 11/26/18, $1,365 after


Instructor in Training

Learn skills and knowledge required to become a ski or snowboard instructor, while improving your skiing or riding.  Discover technical components of skiing/riding, what to teach, how to teach children, and how to promote safety while having fun in lessons and programs.  Lunch is not included, be sure to pack yours or plan to visit one of our on-mountain dining locations.  In addition to the dates listed above, participants are invited to volunteer two midweek days during our holiday periods. Participants must be 13-15 yrs old on or before December 1, 2018.

4-Week Lesson Program for Parents

We're offering parents of kids participating in our multi-week programs a 4-week adult 90-minute class lesson program that coincides with children's lesson days at 10am. Parent program dates are January 12-February 10 (no program January 19-20).

Please note that all lesson programs require participants (ages 17 & under) to be wearing a helmet. If you purchase your program with rentals, a helmet is included in the package.
