As fall activities are now closed, and it's time to gear up for the 19/20 ski season, it will be here in no time! We are very excited about new RFID Direct-to-Lift Gates coming this snow season, making your lift rides hassle-free and more efficient. We will be issuing all-new passes and frequent skier cards equipped with this technology in late October/early November, so best to hold off on in-person pickups for now. Have you seen our new logo?
Extend your adventures on Burnt Ridge Mountain this season- we've added a little cabin near the top for warming up between your laps! Read about other current and recent improvements we've been busy with! Keep in mind our beautifully updated event space with custom catering as the perfect venue for your wedding or special occasion- we are happily booking mountaintop ceremonies, family reunions, conferences, and community gatherings for this fall and beyond. Our Snow Sampler four-packs are on sale until December 13, these transferable are valid any day of the 19/20 ski season at Gore, Whiteface, and Belleayre!
Thank you so much for tuning in, this is Cindy with your More Gore Podcast for the fall weekend of September 28 & 29. Stunning shades of reds, oranges, and yellows are popping out all around us. Take a relaxing skyride this weekend through this fantastic foliage, surrounded by amazing Adirondack views. We've got a great forecast this weekend- Saturday is mostly sunny with a high near 76- enjoy our open-air chairlift ride to the mid-mountain Saddle area aboard the Adirondack Express. Sunday is also mostly sunny, yet a bit cooler high near 66. The Northwoods Gondola is open for skyrides on Sunday, to the top of Bear Mountain. Think about bringing an extra layer if you're spending any time exploring the trails and views at the top, and plan to join us for lunch and family-friendly attractions in the Base Area.
Note that the last round-trip skyride boards at 4:15pm both days. Visit our activity report online for the very latest updates. Get ready for Harvest Fest at Gore Mountain- this famous annual celebration of the changing seasons features free admission, live music, 100+ Adirondack artisans in our biggest slopeside shopping village ever, kids activities and entertainment, festive food and drink menus, along with two options for fall skyrides, that's the chairlift and the gondola open both days!
Skiers and riders should be getting excited about our new direct-to-lift gates! Keep your pass or ticket tucked away in your jacket when you head up the mountain. You don't have to worry about losing it or presenting it to the attendants before your rides. Have you purchased a 19/20 season pass or frequent skier card? We'll be updating your products to include this new technology, so best to hold off on in-person pickups for now. We look forward to mailing them to you or printing them in person (depending on the preference indicated when you ordered) in late October/early November.
We're busy building out a new competition-level freestyle cross course on Wild Air, and we added a warming cabin at the top of Burnt Ridge Mountain. We recently unveiled our new logo - this refreshed look has some fun features hidden in the design like our four unique peaks and a sideways "G". Read more about all of our current projects and recent updates at our Mountain Improvements page. Start gearing up for the snow season, if you haven't already. Season passes, frequent skier cards, snow sampler four-packs, multi-week programs, and gift cards are all on sale.
Thank so much again for tuning in and make it a great day out there!
