What's Happening

We are expecting the snow and mixed precipitation to stay with us throughout Thursday as more winter-like makes a welcome return- look for conditions tightening throughout the day as the temperatures drop and the winds pick up.  The snow coverage is excellent and groomers have laid out the goods on miles of terrain from summit to Saddle to Village Slopes!   You can keep your turns going right through 8pm under the lights at the North Creek Ski Bowl.  On Saturday, plan on joining us for our Leap Day Scavenger Hunt- you can earn stickers throughout the mountain and get your card validated for a chance to win a new pair of skis!  Check our e-ticket deals online to reload your SKI3 Card online in advance for direct-to-lift access, or plan to get your SKI3 Card at the mountain if you're joining us for the first time this season.

February 27 Pod
February 26, 2020

Thank you so much for tuning in, this is Emily with your More Gore Podcast for Thursday, February 27, Ski Day #97.  As you know we have this murky weather system moving through- making everything just sort of damp and grey.  Today the second half of it will be in play which will bring Rain and snow showers before noon, then a chance of snow showers. Temperature falling to around 27 by 5pm. East wind 9 to 16 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. but a heads up on some east winds around and falling temps through the 20s as we get into the mid and late afternoon- really this storm is just a couple of annoying weather days more than anything- nice to seem a break for Friday and beyond as things definitely get back into more of a mid-winter mood.

That said the snow is doing just fine even though the skies are dark.  Groomers working their way around several of your favorites and look for that trail and count lift rebounding strongly into Friday.  Conditions tightening up as we go through the day as the breezes and temps do their thing.

So 52 trails for today, serviced by 7 lifts including the Village Chair, which will be open through 8pm.

Today's food court lunch special is a garlic florentine calzone for $9.50. Passholders always save 20% off that special.

This weekend we have a Leap Day Scavenger hunt going on!  There's six stops where you'll go around at specific times and get your card validated- earn a sticker at each one and then turn in your completed card for a chance at winning a new pair of skis.

Master the Mountain Clinics and Telemark Days both coming up for the weekend.  Check out 90-minute clinics for telemark skiers of all abilities available at 10am, Noon, and 2pm both days of the weekend for just $29 and a SKI3 card loaded with that day's lift access required. Join or watch the US Telemark Races happening on Echo both days too!

Thank so much again for tuning in and make it a great day out there!
