This anticipated winter storm is now underway- sort of a thin little snowfall that started around 1pm but hinting at all of the signs of big things to come!! This will be a
true powdermaker with several glades anticipated for Sunday- those will be opening up throughout the day- we are bringing crews on early and will be opening terrain
as we get staff safely in place and trails evaluated. Thanks for your patience as we will be going as quickly as possible- we want you playing in that powder just as soon
as we can.
Projected accumulations have increased to 13-22" expected- pretty wide range but any way you slice it that means tons of powder on the way for you to enjoy. t we
are postponing our Fireworks and torchlight display due to the timing of this storm- new date on that annual party to be announced, I will be back in touch when that is
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow after noon. High near 13. Wind chill values as low as -12. Northeast wind 9 to 13 mph becoming
northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
Trail count at 96 headed into Sunday serviced by every single lift we've got- groomers have one of their biggest schedules so far this season as we'll do our best to
blend the heavy overnight snowfall into our base but do expect areas of deep powder everywhere on Sunday.
So excited for all of these glades to open and everything else for that matter- from the sunway chair to the Ski Bowl- there's plenty of snow and terrain for everyone.
Use caution on the roadways- I know you always do, but give work trucks and plows plenty of space and time to do their thing and keep your travel and theirs as safe as
possible. There will be plenty of snow whenever you get here and we've got skiing right through 8pm so don't hurry just get here.
