What's Happening

Thank goodness it's Friday- Mother Nature is predicted to sprinkle us with flurries all day, helping us get into the holiday and skiing spirit!  Our midweek skiers have been loving the soft snow and fantastic coverage.  Lower Sleighride has a few berms and rollers now, check out a little more freestyle action added to the mix.  Groomers are laying down the goods on 100% of open terrain, and snowmakers have lit up Showcase, 2B, Uncas, and Tannery while finishing Lower Sunway as well.   All of this terrain is planned to open throughout the weekend, so stay tuned.  You can now check out a longer stretch of Sunway, open to the 3B trail.  Please note the Northwoods Gondola is open for intermediates and experts only today- beginners should find their turns on Bear Cub Run.

Special Notes

Friday's lift ticket prices are discounted to $69 for adults, $59 for teens and seniors, and just $39 for juniors- save an additional $10pp when you donate a non-perishable food item at the window!  Enjoy lunch at the Food Court- Fridays's special is a Fish Fry- hand-breaded haddock with french fries and your choice of tartar or cocktail sauce for $12.  RFID Tip: Keep your new SKI3 Card in a pocket all by itself when passing through the gates.  Our Nordic Center at the Ski Bowl is open noon-6pm today!  Safety reminder: Riding the lift with small children?  Load so the smallest one is located between you and the lift attendant.

December 6 Pod
December 5, 2019

Thank you so much for tuning in, this is Emily with your More Gore Podcast for Friday, December 6, Ski Day #14.   I think we're already for some fun, right?  Friday is

an awesome day to come out and see a lot of friendly and familiar faces smiling at the idea of some pre-weekend shredding.

We are going to see a lot of terrain opening fast in the coming days- we're not advertising any for today but keep your eyes open because that could change.  It's really

been just hopping around with the warmer daytime temps- maxing out on the cold nights, just optimizing production where we can at the right times and places as

best we can- it's been a decent week of snowmaking, just one where we have to react a bunch.

That said, the focus is on Tannery and Uncas- we've made tons of progress up top on Hawkeye, Cloud, and Headwaters- and we're ready to let loose more terrain on

the East Side including Lower Sunway, the lower half of Showcase, and Otter Slide.  Thanks everyone for your patience as we're all ready to play on some new stuff

and it's coming at us fast here.

Recently opened terrain includes a longer stretch of Sunway now open- that is good to go on down to the intersection of 3b.  Our hard-working park crew has added
a nice little lineup of rollers and jumps on Lower Sleighride to add to the freestyle fun- they work really hard out there each day to keep new features coming and the

ones we have in good shape.

Lift tickets are $69 for adults, $59 for teens and seniors, and just $39 for juniors.  Bring along a non-perishable food item for our drive and get an extra $10 off.

We have 13 trails open, serviced by the Northwoods Gondola, the Topridge Triple, and Bear Cub- the Adirondack Express is opening daily for the season as of Saturday.

Enjoy lunch at the Food Court- Fridays's special is a Fish Fry- hand-breaded haddock with french fries and your choice of tarter or cocktail sauce for $12.    Passholders

always get 20% off the daily special.

Nordic Center at the Ski Bowl is now open open, check us out noon-6pm today, there are races there this weekend so check our website about that.

Get your Gift Cards- they don't expire and are available in any amount and valid for any purchase at Gore, Whiteface, or Belleayre.

Lifts turn 8:30am-4pm, we look forward to seeing you-  Thank so much again for tuning in and make it a great day out there!
