Podcast

December 17 Pod
December 16, 2018

Thank you so much for tuning in, this is Emily with your More Gore Podcast for Monday, December 17, Ski Day #27.
Scaling back on the trail count to groomed terrain only to get the week started, as Sunday evening is delivering a mixed bag with a little

warm up and while we love seeing the low temperatures  on the way in for Monday and beyond, it will lock up that ungroomed stuff for

a bit while we get through the weather transition.  It will be a frozen granular day

So 20 trails to start with, snowmakers on the move to trails including Pine Knot, Fairview, Tahawus, Pot Luck, and Lower Sunway.

We're excited to get all of that happening for you and it looks like this first half of the week especially gives us the temps we need to get

that done.

Overnight Sunday could welcome a couple inches of heavy snow sort of that gloomy mixed precip weather hanging out with us

throughout Monday, a high near 35. We'll feel those famous west winds picking up through the day as this dumpy little storm moves out and temps dropping as we get through the afternoon hours.  So a little bit of everything going on out there but it's not lasting long.

Congratulations to our racers of Saturday's snowshoe race, as well as Sunday's USSA Holiday Slalom- it was a wonderful weekend of

events- happy to have everyone here.

Today's food court lunch special is a bacon Cheeseburger for $9.50.

Don't let the fast-approaching holiday cut into your ski time and grab your favorite people a Gore Mountain gift card.  They're available

in any denomination and never expire.

Thanks again for tuning in, and make it a great snow day!
