Welcome to a rockin' MLK weekend!  We've got gorgeous conditions and beautiful coverage, and of course we are gearing up for another dump of natural snow starting up late this afternoon.  Our talented grooming staff has skillfully blended Thursday's 5" accumulation into a carpet of crisp corduroy to get your weekend started in style with vast amounts of terrain to explore!  Several of your favorite summit steeps are back in action today- snowmakers wrapped up overnight on Lies, Chatiemac, and Headwaters- you can check out the newest snow there mid-morning.  During the day, snowmakers will be powering away on Lower Sleighride, Wild Air, Pot Luck, The Arena, and Ski Bowl terrain.  Make sure to hit up Burnt Ridge Mountain on today's adventure- the North Side and High Peaks are open too!

Our fun MLK Weekend lineup includes live music Saturday & Sunday in the Tannery, an impressive Fireworks Display and 50-skier torch parade will illuminate the Base Area Sunday at dusk, and value-packed holiday ski & stay vacations are available from just $96pp per night for adults including lift tickets- find your favorite package and stick around for the entire long weekend of fun!  Join us in welcoming several hundred Nordic athletes to the Mid-Atlantic Junior National Qualifiers for morning races at the Ski Bowl this weekend, then explore the groomed cross-country trails into the evening under lights or hop in a beginner lesson during the afternoon.  Saturday's food court lunch special is a turkey panini with cheddar and green apples on multigrain bread for $9.50- remember passholders, you save 20% off that daily special as part of your awesome lineup of perksSafety reminder:  Stay alert- know who and what is around you, especially other skiers and riders and be aware of changing conditions.  Get ready for quality family time at an unbeatable value - Take Your Kids to Gore Week starts on Tuesday and that means all kids 19 & under ski/ride free with their full-paying parent right through Sunday 1/26!
