We are expecting the snow and mixed precipitation to stay with us throughout Thursday as more winter-like makes a welcome return- look for conditions tightening throughout the day as the temperatures drop and the winds pick up.  The snow coverage is excellent and groomers have laid out the goods on miles of terrain from summit to Saddle to Village Slopes!   You can keep your turns going right through 8pm under the lights at the North Creek Ski Bowl.  On Saturday, plan on joining us for our Leap Day Scavenger Hunt- you can earn stickers throughout the mountain and get your card validated for a chance to win a new pair of skis!  Check our e-ticket deals online to reload your SKI3 Card online in advance for direct-to-lift access, or plan to get your SKI3 Card at the mountain if you're joining us for the first time this season.

Special Notes

Master the Mountain in this weekend's adult clinics for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders- choose from Saturday morning, all day Saturday, or two-day options to match best with your schedule. Tickets & meals included with all-day programs!  Telemark skiers can check out 90-minute clinics and join or watch the US Telemark races happening both days this weekend!  Thursday's food court lunch special is a garlic florentine Calzone for $9.50 - passholders save 20% off the daily lunch special as part of your long list of perksSafety reminder:  Plan ahead- if you're not familiar with the terrain, start with easier-rated trails and work your way up.  Be sure to visit our nordic trails at the Ski Bowl, access is included with all season passes and downhill lift tickets.  Season passes for 20/21 go on sale Wednesday, March 4- we'll have more details about them on the website Monday!

Scenic Skyrides

Enjoy a relaxing ride and scenic views- we are open Saturday & Sunday through October 13!

Try our scenic skyrides for an unforgettable adventure!

A great way to spend a half-hour at Gore or the entire day.  Enjoy stunning views of the High Peaks and Southern Adirondacks, and take the opportunity to hike and picnic, or bring your mountain bike and helmet along and try our challenging downhill trails. The last round-trip skyride is at 4:15pm.

Gondola and Chairlift are both open* for Harvest Fest 2019 (Oct 12-13)

On our Adirondack Express 4-person chairlift, enjoy the sounds of nature as the ride whisks you through lush greenery to the unloading platform at our mid-mountain Saddle area.  Take the short walk to our recently renovated Saddle Lodge, relax and enjoy scenic views spanning as far north as the High Peaks.  After soaking up these stunning mountain vistas, take the Sidewinder hike/bike trail to Bear Mountain, the Cloud trail to Gore's true summit, or the Twister Cliffs trail to scenic outlooks on Burnt Ridge Mountain!  Note that all chairlift passengers must exit the chair onto our unloading platform at the top of the lift, and passengers are reloaded on every fourth chair of the downhill side for the skyride descent.  Watch a video of a Scenic Skyride aboard the open-air chairlift.

Aboard the Northwoods Gondola, guests are fully enclosed in an 8-passenger cabin. Our gondola cabins can easily fit mountain bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers- these cabins are also ideal for small children or for those timid of heights. The gondola will deliver guests to the summit of the Bear Mountain, where the Fairview observation deck and mountaintop labyrinth are a short stroll away.  Traverse the Alpine Sky Loop (a 15-20 minute interpretive hike), and access the hiking and biking trail networks.

*All activities are open weather permitting, and the lift schedule is subject to substitution without notice.
