We hope you are staying safe and healthy, and we can't wait to welcome you back soon.  Although Gore is presently closed to the public, we look forward to posting information about our schedule and activities as it becomes available.  2020-2021 season passes are on sale- there are no price increases over last year, plus our free financing plan is available when you purchase on or before August 12.  If you are renewing your pass, use our online "WTP Reloads" feature to conveniently retain your same SKI3 Card.

Special Notes

In the interest of everyone's health, we are asking for no visitors to the mountain at this time.  We understand that some of you have personal equipment stored in rental lockers, and we’re working on a procedure that will allow you to safely collect your belongings.  This procedure and other updates will be posted here as they become available.  We appreciate everyone's help and cooperation in being part of the solution during these trying times, and we look forward to getting back to the activities we all love soon.

Scenic Skyrides

Enjoy a relaxing ride and scenic views.

Thank you for visiting our website!  We look forward to posting updates about our schedule and activities as they become available- visit our Operational Updates page for more information.

Try our scenic skyrides for an unforgettable adventure!  A great way to spend a half-hour at Gore or the entire day.  Enjoy stunning views of the High Peaks and Southern Adirondacks, and take the opportunity to hike and picnic, or bring your mountain bike and helmet along and try our challenging downhill trails. The last round-trip skyride is at 4:15pm.

Open Air Chairlift Skyrides

On our Adirondack Express 4-person chairlift, enjoy the sounds of nature as the ride whisks you through lush greenery to the unloading platform at our mid-mountain Saddle area.  Take the short walk to our recently renovated Saddle Lodge, relax and enjoy scenic views spanning as far north as the High Peaks.  After soaking up these stunning mountain vistas, take the Sidewinder hike/bike trail to Bear Mountain, the Cloud trail to Gore's true summit, or the Twister Cliffs trail to scenic outlooks on Burnt Ridge Mountain!  Note that all chairlift passengers must exit the chair onto our unloading platform at the top of the lift, and passengers are reloaded on every fourth chair of the downhill side for the skyride descent.  Watch a video of a Scenic Skyride aboard the open-air chairlift.

Northwoods Gondola Skyrides

Aboard the Northwoods Gondola, guests are fully enclosed in an 8-passenger cabin. Our gondola cabins can easily fit mountain bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers- these cabins are also ideal for small children or for those timid of heights. The gondola will deliver guests to the summit of the Bear Mountain, where the Fairview observation deck and mountaintop labyrinth are a short stroll away.  Traverse the Alpine Sky Loop (a 15-20 minute interpretive hike), and access the hiking and biking trail networks.

*All activities are open weather permitting, and the lift schedule is subject to substitution without notice.

Scenic Skyride Tickets 2019:

Adults & Teens (ages 13-69): $22
Juniors (ages 7-12) & 70+: $12

2019-20 season passes include lift access for scenic skyrides and hiking/biking in the summer and fall during scheduled operating hours.  Passes are scanned at the lift for skyrides.  Downhill bikers must visit the ticket desk to sign in and pick up their complimentary bike ticket.

2019 Hike & Bike Pass: $89

Enjoy unlimited mountain biking, self-guided hiking, and scenic skyrides during scheduled operating hours this summer and fall!  This pass is non-transferable, for ages 7+, and is valid through October 13, 2019.

Be sure to check out our independent interpretive hikes- the Hardwood Forest Loop is located in the Base Area and the Alpine Sky Loop is at the top of Bear Mountain near where the gondola unloads.  Excellent photo opportunities- have fun!
