Thursday is on- we can't wait to see you, as our midweek skiers are loving the quiet trails and outstanding early season coverage!  There's terrain for all abilities as we wrap up our first week of daily operations this season.  Lower Sleighride has a few berms and rollers now, check out a little more freestyle action added to the mix.  Bring the extra layer back out as the mountain air will be kicking up a bit this afternoon.  Groomers are laying down the goods on 100% of open terrain, and snowmakers have lit up Tannery and Uncas while also prioritizing the lower half of Showcase.  All of this terrain is planned to open next, so stay tuned.  You can now check out a longer stretch of Sunway, open all the way to the 3b trail.  Please note the Northwoods Gondola is open for intermediates and experts only- beginners can find their turns on Bear Cub Run.

Special Notes

Enjoy lunch at the Food Court- Thursday's special is a bacon cheeseburger for $9.50.  RFID Tip: Once you receive your new SKI3 Card, plan to keep it for several years- you can reload it for all future visits!  We are issuing one complimentary card per person this season, so keep yours safe and bring it to Gore, Whiteface, or Belleayre every time you visit.  Our Nordic Center at the Ski Bowl is open noon-6pm today!  Safety reminder: Riding the lift with small children?  Load so the smallest one is located between you and the lift attendant.

Hiking Excursions

Enjoy refreshing scenic excursions with stunning mountain views- we are open Saturday & Sunday through October 13!

2019-2020 season passes include lift access for scenic skyrides and hiking/biking this summer and fall!

INDEPENDENT INTERPRETIVE HIKES

Our "eco-loops" are designed for approximately a 30-min walk, and offer interpretive signage to keep you on track, as well as some education if you're interested!  The Hardwood Forest Loop is located in the Base Area, and the Alpine Sky Loop is at the top of Bear Mountain near where the gondola unloads.

Take a relaxing stroll through our labyrinth, located near the top of Bear Mountain where the Alpine Sky Loop interpretive trail intersects Fairview.  Labyrinths are ancient patterns over 4,000 years old, and walking them has been known to help quiet the mind and offer relaxation, balance, and well-being.

FREE INTERPRETIVE TALKS

Led by our experienced staff, you'll discuss local vegetation, the history of Gore Mountain, and interesting facts about the surrounding views.  Free for all ticketed guests and season passholders.  Mountaintop gathering times are 11am and 1pm, every day we're open!

2019 Hike & Bike Pass: $89

Enjoy unlimited mountain biking, self-guided hiking, and scenic skyrides during scheduled operating hours this summer and fall!  This pass is non-transferable, for ages 7+, and is valid through October 13, 2019.
