22" of beautiful snow on Sunday delivered a truly memorable day!  We have tons of glades open all over the mountain.  Be advised of today's cold forecast as the strong storm moves out and leaves low temperatures and blustery northwest winds behind.  If you're out to grab your share of the fresh powder today, layer up well, stay hydrated, and stash some warmers and snacks in your pocket.  Check out our lodges on most or every run today to keep yourself warm- the upper level of the Saddle Lodge is a particularly comfortable place to get cozy while enjoying the views!  Groomers have been working hard to level out almost two feet of new snow- expect powder conditions again for Monday.  High Peaks Area skiers- plan to exit that area via Wood Out and down to the North Quad.  Remember to grab your e-tickets in advance and save yourself some time and money.

Special Notes

Don't forget, your lift ticket or season pass is valid at our Nordic Center and Village Slopes at the Ski Bowl, where tomorrow we will be hosting the USASA Border/Skiercross event. This exciting freestyle race begins at 11am. Because there is more midweek snow in the forecast, check out our weekend ski and stay packages for future mountain fun!  Safety reminder: Prior to using any lift,  need to know how to load, ride, and unload safely. Be sure to ask one of our friendly lift attendants if you have any questions. They are there to help. Today's Food Court lunch special is a Bacon Cheeseburger for $9.50 (passholders always save 20% off the special). 

Ski Bowl Citizens Races- Tuesday Nights!

Every Tuesday. January 15 - February 19. 6pm. Citizens Races. Skate ski, Classic ski, Snowshow. North Creek Ski Bowl. Gore Mountain. Barvino, Barkeate Chocolates. becks tavern, and Basil and wicks

A community race series at the North Creek Ski Bowl!  Come for one week, or join all of them!  After racing, plan on staying for dinner. All races are held on our professionally groomed stadium course under the lights!  Start 2019 with some extra fun and fitness.  The Citizens Races end up becoming a bit of a club- you'll be making some new friends and adding to your on-snow time each week!

Title Sponsors: Barkeater Chocolates, barVino, Basil & Wicks, and becks TAVERN.

Each week we'll also award locally produced treats from Cobble Creek Farm, and the Adirondack Brew Pub will be contributing gift certificates to some of the upcoming races!  The food truck will feature a homestyle dinner special each night of the series.

Every Tuesday- January 15 through February 19
5:15-5:50pm: Registration and bib pickup
6pm: All races begin (Mass start) in the stadium area
7:30pm or Earlier: Weekly Awards

FREE for season passholders and ticketed guests.  $10 registration fee for all others includes trail pass if needed.  All racers must have Nordic access with either a trail pass or season pass attached to their person.

Raffle Drawing- Each week, everyone who races is entered into a drawing for fun prizes - last year's prize pool included regional gift certificates, cold-weather gear, locally crafted goodies, and more!
We will keep your time recorded each week you participate, but this is just for you to keep track of your own progress!  Every week you show up, you earn an extra "chance" into the grand raffle happening February 19 (you must be present to win).
Participants who join all six races will be in the running for a "Best Turnout" prize, also awarded raffle-style on February 19.

Race Distance Options:  (You know what's great about this series?  If you change your mind at the end of a loop and either want to cut your racing short or go for more, no problem!)
