22" of beautiful snow on Sunday delivered a truly memorable day!  We have tons of glades open all over the mountain.  Be advised of today's cold forecast as the strong storm moves out and leaves low temperatures and blustery northwest winds behind.  If you're out to grab your share of the fresh powder today, layer up well, stay hydrated, and stash some warmers and snacks in your pocket.  Check out our lodges on most or every run today to keep yourself warm- the upper level of the Saddle Lodge is a particularly comfortable place to get cozy while enjoying the views!  Groomers have been working hard to level out almost two feet of new snow- expect powder conditions again for Monday.  High Peaks Area skiers- plan to exit that area via Wood Out and down to the North Quad.  Remember to grab your e-tickets in advance and save yourself some time and money.

Special Notes

Don't forget, your lift ticket or season pass is valid at our Nordic Center and Village Slopes at the Ski Bowl, where tomorrow we will be hosting the USASA Border/Skiercross event. This exciting freestyle race begins at 11am. Because there is more midweek snow in the forecast, check out our weekend ski and stay packages for future mountain fun!  Safety reminder: Prior to using any lift,  need to know how to load, ride, and unload safely. Be sure to ask one of our friendly lift attendants if you have any questions. They are there to help. Today's Food Court lunch special is a Bacon Cheeseburger for $9.50 (passholders always save 20% off the special).

Bear Cub Den Daycare

Sleeping Bear Cub

Opening Friday, November 23.  Children enjoy a long tradition of fun and friendship.  We offer a safe, playful environment for your little ones (ages 6 months to 6 years) while you enjoy the mountain.  Pick up your child and take them to lunch, or bring a lunch and we'll feed them while in our care (we do not provide lunch).

Play 'n Snow (for ages 2-6)

We love taking the kids out to play in the snow!  Children are supervised for 30+ minutes as they walk, slide, make snow angels, and more.  We'll take them on a short sleigh ride from the daycare to other kid-friendly locations in the base area for their play time, and then another fun sleigh ride back.  Children enjoy this time playing in the snow while becoming acclimated to the outdoor environment.

Offered on weekends and during holiday periods, Play 'n Snow is an option for each child and is included in the daycare price.  Please be sure to bring your child's outdoor boots, jacket, snow pants, hat, and mittens if they are participating in this program.  Gore Mountain reserves the right to suspend the outside program on days when the weather is inclement, or for other safety reasons.

Reservations are recommended, please call (518) 251-2411, x1018.  A parent or guardian must remain on the mountain while your child is in our care.  All daycare services are non-transferable, intended for one child only.  View our reservation policy.

*Season pass is valid daily during peak season.  Daycare may not be available during the early/late season so please check ahead for our schedule.

Please note that for the safety of all participants, peanuts or food products containing peanuts are not permitted in our Mountain Adventure Center or Bear Cub Den Daycare.

Heads Up- Location Change!

You can now find our new daycare area on the Lower Level of the Base Lodge. It's a quiet and secure location with great views of families enjoying the J-bar!
