Citizens Series Meets Tuesday Nights!

Every Tuesday through February 18 at the Ski Bowl, snowshoe and nordic racers get together for a fun evening of racing and prizes.  We are now approaching our third week so join in the action and make some new friends during this community-oriented series, sponsored by becks TAVERN, Basil & Wick’s, barVino, and Cobble Creek.  Newcomers are welcome- classic ski, skate ski, or snowshoe on the stadium course under the lights for your choice of distances, and enjoy raffle prizes and a bonfire following.  Registration is 5:30-5:50pm, race starts at 6pm!

January Is National Safety Awareness Month

Safety is a top priority at Gore. Familiarize yourself with the NSAA's Responsibility Code- these basic tips make for a fun and safe day out on the mountain. Quick Tip: If you need to stop along a trail, do so off to the side and where you are easily seen from above.

Charge your car as you re-charge on the mountain.

We're offering six new ChargePoint stations in Lot C. Thanks to drivers of electric cars for your commitment to renewable energy and environmental sustainability!  Gore Mountain is a leader of environmental conservation efforts in the ski industry and within our local community.  We are committed to preserving the winter that we love for our future generations and strive to operate harmoniously with the environment.  Read more about our environmental initiatives, including the largest solar array dedicated to a ski area in the country.
