Soft snow conditions and comfortable temperatures are in store for this weekend to kick off our favorite promotion of the year- Take Your Kids to Gore Week!  Ages 19 and under ski and ride FREE with a full-paid parent daily through Friday- don't miss the fantastic family value.  Look for more terrain opening soon- snowmakers have most recently been working on The Rumor, The Oak Ridge Trail, Sunway, and Jamboree.  Would you like snow reports emailed to you 1-2 times a week?  Click here to sign up.

Special Notes

Extra fun is waiting for you on our half pipe and newly designed boarder/skiercross at the Ski Bowl, open 8:30am-8pm this weekend.  Be sure to enjoy our nordic trail system there as well- access to everything at the Bowl is included with season passes and lift tickets.  Sunday's food court lunch special is a turkey panini with granny smith apples and cheddar for $9- passholders, don't forget your 20% discount off the daily special and all of your other added-value discounts!   Please note that Echo is open for racing only through Monday, as we happily welcome our FIS athletes and their families- good luck racers!  Safety reminder: If you ski or ride with a backpack, remove it before boarding any lift, and keep it off until you have safely unloaded from that lift.  

Season-Long Teen Programs

Season-long all-day programs for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders, ages 13-15.  These programs meet 9am-3:30pm, every Saturday & Sunday, December 3, 2016 - March 19, 2017 (no program December 24-25 or February 18-19)

Instructor in Training

  • For skiers & snowboarders (ages 13-15), intermediate to advanced ability levels
  • Program meets 9am-3:30pm, every Saturday & Sunday, December 3, 2016 - March 19, 2017 (no program December 24-25 or February 18-19)
  • $415 - Includes lift ticket on program days
  • $615 - Includes a 16/17 SKI3 season pass

Learn skills and knowledge required to become a ski or snowboard instructor, while improving your skiing or riding.  Discover technical components of skiing/riding, what to teach, how to teach children, and how to promote safety while having fun in lessons and programs.  Lunch is not included.  Please call (518) 251-2411.  Participants must be 13-15 yrs old on or before December 1, 2015.

Season-Long Program (Teen Xtreme)

  • For skiers & snowboarders (ages 13-15), intermediate to advanced ability levels
  • Program meets 8:30am-3:30pm, every Saturday & Sunday, December 3, 2016 - March 19, 2017 (no program December 24-25 or February 18-19)
  • Includes 16/17 SKI3 season pass, equipment storage in the Rumor Mill Clubhouse, and lunch on program days
  • With Lunch  $1,462
  • Without Lunch  $1,196
  • Parents, ask about joining our four-week adult program that coincides with your teen's lessons, starting in early January.

Teens in our season-long program explore all aspects of skiing and riding at Gore Mountain. Switch it up- skiers can try snowboarding; snowboarders can try skiing. Work on terrain park skills, try racing in the gates, explore our Skier/BoarderX, and ski or ride bumps, glades and more!  All-day coaching and daily fun-filled adventures will build a strong foundation of skills required to enjoy our spectacular terrain.  Safety and fun are emphasized daily.  Practice for our upcoming events with your coaches.

4-Week Parent Program

We're offering parents of kids in our season-long programs a 4-week adult 90-minute class lesson program that coincides with children's lesson days. Parent programs meet Saturdays, January 21-February 11 OR Sundays, January 22-February 12.

Please note that all lesson programs require participants (ages 17 & under) to be wearing a helmet. If you purchase your program with rentals, a helmet is included in the package.
