Learning to Ski with Parallel from the Start
Parallel from the Start (PFS) is designed with instruction techniques and rental equipment specifically for first-time skiers, ages 13+. One simple package includes your 90-minute lessons, beginner-specific rentals, and lift tickets.* PFS is affordable and easy! Complete our 3-day program and you will receive a SKI3 Frequent Skier Card to get you ticket discounts and bring-a-friend perks for the rest of the season (please note this card will not include the first day free after issuance).

Learning to Snowboard with Burton LTR
Our Burton boards are specially designed to make your first and future days of riding the best they can be. Our snowboard instructors will help you get started at connecting your turns, and one simple package includes your 90-minute lessons, rentals, and lift tickets.* Burton LTR is affordable and easy! Complete our 3-day program and you will receive a SKI3 Frequent Skier Card to get you excellent discounts and bring-a-friend perks for the rest of the season (please note this card will not include the first day free after issuance).

3 Days of Lift, Lesson, & Rentals Anytime: $169
1 Day Option: $79
Programs may be purchased in person at the Snow Sports Desk, upper level of the Northwoods Lodge. No reservations necessary. Lessons meet on snow at 9:45am or 1:15pm (additional 10:45am option Saturday, Sunday, and daily during holiday periods). Choose from the packages above or reserve a Private Lesson for customized one-on-one coaching! Learn more about how to plan for your first day out.
*The ticket on your first day is a lower mountain ticket, and the second and third day tickets provide full mountain access. Lift included with PFS/LTR programs vary between the three mountains.
Please note that all lesson programs require participants (ages 17 & under) to be wearing a helmet. If you purchase your program with rentals, a helmet is included in the package. If children are using their own equipment, they must bring their helmet or plan to rent one upon arrival. Thank you for your cooperation toward our effort of increasing safety on the slopes.
