What's Happening

Soft snow conditions and comfortable temperatures are in store for this weekend to kick off our favorite promotion of the year- Take Your Kids to Gore Week!  Ages 19 and under ski and ride FREE with a full-paid parent daily through Friday- don't miss the fantastic family value.  Look for more terrain opening soon- snowmakers have most recently been working on The Rumor, The Oak Ridge Trail, Sunway, and Jamboree.  Would you like snow reports emailed to you 1-2 times a week?  Click here to sign up.

Special Notes

Extra fun is waiting for you on our half pipe and newly designed boarder/skiercross at the Ski Bowl, open 8:30am-8pm this weekend.  Be sure to enjoy our nordic trail system there as well- access to everything at the Bowl is included with season passes and lift tickets.  Sunday's food court lunch special is a turkey panini with granny smith apples and cheddar for $9- passholders, don't forget your 20% discount off the daily special and all of your other added-value discounts!   Please note that Echo is open for racing only through Monday, as we happily welcome our FIS athletes and their families- good luck racers!  Safety reminder: If you ski or ride with a backpack, remove it before boarding any lift, and keep it off until you have safely unloaded from that lift.

Thank you for tuning in, this is Emily with your More Gore podcast for Saturday, January 21, Ski Day


So this weekend is giving us a quick taste of some milder weather, and that means easy-going cruising

conditions on softening snow and comfortable temps for being outside- don't worry about the snow

though, there is plenty here and this weather pattern moving right back to snowmaking weather late on

Sunday- more about that in just a little bit-

Look for 56 trails open with loose granular and as the day goes, some wet snow too, serviced by 13 lifts

open including the Village Chair at the North Creek Ski Bowl.

The big news is today starts Take Your Kids to Gore week where all kids 19 and under ski or ride free with

a full paying parent!  Our adult Ladies only skiing and riding clinics start today. One and two day options

are available and price includes lift, lesson, breakfast & lunch, and fun with the gals!  Walk-ins welcome.

A slight chance of rain before 8am, then a slight chance of drizzle between 8am and 11am. Mostly

cloudy, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of

precipitation is 20%.

Today's food court lunch special is a caramelized onion burger for $9. Or take a break in the Tannery

Pub- enjoy a tasty selection from our full-service menu available as of 11am and live music from 1-5 pm


Today is also the Paint and Sip from 5 to 8pm in the Base Lodge. Enjoy wine with the friends while

getting creative with local artists. Give us a call or reserve online to save your seat!

Echo open for racing only through Monday as we welcome our FIS athletes and their families to Gore to

day 2 of their 4-day event, good luck racers.

Snowmakers were most recently on the Oak Ridge Trail, Sunway, Jamboree, and the Rumor and the

weather will have our guns back in action as of Sunday night- we're looking forward to having even

more terrain open for you just as soon as we can!

Nordic and snowshoe Terrain is available at the Ski Bowl 8 am through 8 pm this weekend. Please enter

the Nordic terrain via the access gate. Twilight Skiing available at the bowl till 8pm also. Access is

included with all season passes and downhill lift tickets.

Safety Reminder- if you are in the terrain parks, have a plan for hitting the next feature safely and make

sure the landing is completely clear before taking off.
