December 5 Pod
December 4, 2016

Thank you for tuning in, this is Cindy with your More Gore podcast for Monday, December 5, Ski Day #8.

What a Monday we have in store for you, with snowmakers and groomers hard at work and a little help from Mother Nature- and we are planning to add more terrain during the week ahead.

Guns are blasting out snow on Uncas, Sunway, The Arena, and Bear Cub!  Look for easier rated terrain opening up toward the middle of this week, but for now please note that all open terrain is presently for upper level intermediates and experts at this time, we have your choice of Ruby Run or Foxlair off the gondola, meeting up for one long run down the East Side putting together Sunway, Quicksilver, 3b, and Jamboree.  There are variable conditions out there of course during this early part of the season, but groomers are making out well on all available terrain so look for that coveted Monday morning corduroy, and primarily loose granular surfaces out there.

Monday's forecast is calling for snow, mainly before 1pm. Look for a high near 33 and southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southwest. We could see a new snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches by mid-afternoon.

Save $20 off lift ticket prices today when you bring us a non-perishable food item!  Our food drive will continue daily through December 16, but the discount will change without notice so be checking our site frequently for updated information.

Today's lunch special is a slice of chicken-bacon-ranch pizza for $5.

Nordic open at the Ski Bowl today too- 12-8pm, and that terrain is for skate skiing only at this time.  Access is always included with downhill lift tickets and all season passes.

Please check back for details about next weekends events- we've got learn to cross country ski day at the bowl on Saturday, and a snowboard demo day on Sunday featuring tents from Never Summer and Sims.

Thanks again for tuning in, and you make it a great snow day!
