Thank you for tuning in, this is Emily with your More Gore podcast for Wednesday, February 22, Ski Day #87!

As promised, we anticipate a boost back up on the trail count with 84 trails anticipated, serviced by all 14 lifts.  Looks like these mild temperatures are going to settle in for a few days here in the East, so while the bad news is that while the weather is a bit warmer that what we'd love, there should be less of the thaw/freeze cycles, allowing us to reopen several glades and more of the ungroomed steeps as well.  Note some trails indicated open may appear later in the day as temperatures rise.

Today is a really nice day to get after it, plenty of groomed action in the morning followed by spring turns as we get later into the day, with a high near 45. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph. That high of 45 is what we're hoping allows us to get more terrain back open for you as things soften- last couple of days the colder nights has kept things the more solid side- today we'll likely get to find more sugar snow turns.

Take a terrain park video tour to check out some of our newest features on both Lower Sleighride and Wild Air, as well as see our beginner park on Jibland, our halfpipe, and our boardercross!

blt with cup of soup can't beat that for just $9- passholders you get another 20% off.

Coming up for the weekend, we have ladies only clinics for all levels of skiers and riders- jam-packed with value and include lift tickets, meals, awesome instruction from our best female coaches, and a wine and cheese

celebration.  Saturday-only or two-day options on that.

Lifts open at 8:30am daily and this week the Village Chair is spinning daily right through 8pm right alongside our xc trail system that's open under the lights until that time as well.

The warmer weather this week and softer snow makes today a great day to ski or snowboard for the first time.  While we invite newcomers of all ages, those age 13 and older can get lower mountain lift ticket, 90-minute

lesson, and rental for just $79.  Great deal to kick you off onto a lifestyle of winter fun ahead.

Race training on Echo this morning so hold off on heading to that trail until about 11am.

Today is George Washington's birthday proper, part of the reason some of us get to call this a vacation week, so

let's keep the party going!

Thanks again for tuning in, and make it a great snow day!
