Nastar Race Arena National Standard Racing, NASTAR, is the #1 recreational racing program in America. NASTAR courses are set as dual slalom, and open to all levels of skiers and riders. Racers compete with a “handicap” based on their age, which allows you to compare your race time to racers and pacesetters across the country.
Anyone who signs up for NASTAR at Gore Mountain is welcome to take part in the free morning race clinic at 10:30, just before the course opens for the day’s racing. These clinics are a great opportunity to get some pointers and to learn some insider’s secrets on how to approach certain gates or turns on the course.
NASTAR operates every weekend, mid-December to end of March, and holidays:
2 runs (1 blue course, 1 red course): $5 Unlimited runs on either course for 1 day: $10 5-pack of 10 runs, good any race day: $20
NASTAR season pass: $100
