8:30-9:15 Over a yummy breakfast of your choice, meet your group and determine your goals for the camp! Perhaps you want to tackle steeper terrain, or maybe you're looking for techniques to increase your speed safely and effectively. You might want to learn pointers for varied conditions, such as becoming better at the glades or exploring steeper terrain.
9:15-12:00 On the snow! We'll warm up with a few runs on the lower half of the mountain, and you'll get a few pointers of working on your balance – the key to great skiing! We'll video some of your skiing as coaches give you some tasks that will challenge you to ski out of your comfort zone, while keeping things fun and safe. Let’s push it a little – no more complacency – you’re ready to ramp it up!
12:00 Break for lunch with the group – hot soup and sandwich is a great midday treat! Or try one of our Adirondack Salads!
12:45–3:30 Back out on the hill. How about a few runs on Topridge? We'll work on your short turns. Master the Mountain is a great camp for making more difficult terrain easier, and easier terrain more challenging.
3:30 Head to the Tannery Pub, have a drink, and celebrate your day!
Video is usually taken on Saturday, but subject to change due to weather and visibility. A review of video is conducted during the weekend to see how well you are skiing! Sunday, Day 2
