The the colder temps are staying with us tonight- snowmakers and groomers are on the move with efforts to turn the terrain around as quickly as possible!   Be aware of areas of thin cover and bare spots, keep your speed low, and as always, have fun while skiing with care.  Some areas/trails may open later in the day.  Our Women Only Ski and Snowboard Clinics are happening this Saturday and Sunday- clinics include tickets, meals, instruction, and celebration, and we encourage ladies of all ability levels to take advantage of this value-packed deal.  For a limited time, we are excited to be distributing our Ski Bowl Illustration poster- it's free for passholders and $10 for everyone else!  Check out the details.

Special Notes

Snowmakers are on the job, with efforts focused on the top of Bear Mountain, throughout Sunway, Foxlair, Bear Cub Run, and the Ski Bowl.  Friday's Food Court Lunch Special is a tasty Tuna Melt Panini for $9.  Or, take a break mid-mountain in the beautiful Saddle Lodge which serves food- including their delicious pulled pork or chicken tacos and cold or warm beverages.  While there, take in the stunning views of the Adirondacks!  Safety Tip: If you are merging onto a trail, be sure to look uphill and yield to others.  Please note, Echo and Crystal will be open for racing only today.

Warren Miller's Line of Descent

Warren Miller's Line of Descent

We are excited to partner with Gem Radio Theatre to present Warren Miller's 68th film, Line of Descent on Thursday, February 22 at 5pm.  The film will be shown in the Backwoods Room on the lower level of the Base Lodge.  Refreshments will be available to purchase through the end of intermission.

Presale tickets are available at Garnet Hill Lodge, Beaver Brook Outfitters, becks Tavern, Basil & Wick's, and Chrissy's Cafe.  $10 per ticket, cash only please.  Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Gem Radio Theatre (GRT) is a small, new, local company that was started to perform radio plays live onstage.  Some of their productions include It's a Wonderful Life, The Lone Ranger Rides Again, and Horrors You Can Hear, as well as murder mystery dinner theater shows and free outdoor screenings at Riverfront Park.  Funds raised from this presentation will go toward their purchase of a new sound system.
