Solstice Yoga at Tannery Pond Community Center is taught by Michele Pearsall, MS Community Health Education 200 RYT, Pheonix Rising Yoga Therapy, and ACE Personal Trainer. Michele has been teaching for over ten years and recently became a resident of North Creek. She also teaches at SUNY Adirondack College and is a level II PSIA Certified Ski Instructor at Gore Mountain. All classes are open to all levels and options are always given. Students may register for full sessions (8 weeks) or are welcome to drop in. Part of all proceeds are donated back to Tannery Pond Community Center or to a community member or organization with a specific need.
Summer 2017 Schedule of Classes
Monday at 4 PM: Yoga for Everybody
No matter what your experience or fitness level this is a perfect class, modifications for postures and a slow flow. Perfect for increasing muscular strength, flexibility, listening to your body and lowering stress.
Tuesday at 8 AM: Yoga Flow
A Vinyasa Style class, breath connects with postures. As always all are welcome.
Tuesday & Thursday at 9 AM: Stretch and Strengthen
For those who prefer a more traditional weight training class with light dumbbells ( weights) and resistance bands and stretching. Weights and bands provided- please bring water, a mat and wear sneakers.
Wednesday at 5 PM: FIT
A combo class of HIT ( high-intensity interval training), yoga, pilates, functional fitness. High intensity with a high-calorie burn!
Pricing: $8 for prepayment or $10 drop-in.
